The following is a list of upcoming local entertainment events. The Times Observer welcomes additions to the list that are of community interest. Club meetings and closed gatherings are not included. To add an event, call features editor Diana Paddock in the newsroom at 723-8200 by noon Monday.

Every Monday through April 11: Toddler Time, 10:30 a.m. in the Warren Public Library Children's Department. Ages 0-3. Theme-based stories, songs, craft and creative play. (Not Feb. 21).

Every Monday through April 18: Pre-K Time: 1:30 p.m. in the Warren Public Library Children's Department. Ages 3-5. Theme-based stories, songs, craft and creative play. (Not Feb. 21).

Jan. 21-23: Winterfest, Chapman State Park.

Jan. 24: Warren County School District, professional development day for teachers, no school for students.

Jan. 27: Game Night for teens/tweens (ages 10-18). Students join other gaming enthusiasts in the Slater Room in the Warren Public Library to use the library's laptops, Nintendo Wii, GameCube, Guitar Hero and various other games, 3:30 to 7 p.m.

Jan. 27: Annual Warren Lions Club Turkey Dinner, St. Joseph Center, Warren, 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Feb. 3 and 5: JCC Primetime Series at Allegheny Community Center, 42 Clark St., Warren, Cross-Country Skiing, 1-3 p.m. (723-3577).

Feb. 5: "Women are Wonderful," Jefferson DeFrees Family Center, Second Ave., Warren, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Feb. 5: "Eagle Watch," a free public education and observation program, Kinzua Dam (visitor center and wildlife observation platform), Rt. 59, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

Feb. 6: Special Bingo, Garland Fire Hall, doors open, noon; games start, 2 p.m., kitchen will be open (563-9017).

Feb. 7: Warren County School District, SCHOOL IS IN SESSION, make up for Dec. 6 snow day.

Feb. 10: I Love the Wimpy Kid Series, 4-6 p.m. in the Slater Room of the Warren Public Library. Ages 8 and older. This program revolves around the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" series by Jeff Kinney. Activities include games, a craft and drawings for prizes. A snack will be served. Attendance limited to 20. Preregistration mandatory. Call the children's staff at 723-4650 to register.

Feb. 10: "American Chief Prosecutors: Past & Present" by guest speaker Professor of Law and American Chief Prosecutor, David M. Crane, 7 p.m., Main Courtroom, Warren County Court House, free program, sponsored by the Warren County Historical Society, the Robert H. Jackson Center and Pennsylvania Humanities Council.

Feb. 10-13: Warren Players, "Run for Your Wife," Library Theatre, 8 p.m. daily, 2 p.m. on Feb. 13.

Feb. 15: Warren Public Library Classic Jazz with Chase Putnam, Slater Room, 6-8 p.m.

Feb. 16: JCC Primetime Series at Allegheny Community Center, 42 Clark St., Warren, "What You May Not Know About the Seneca Nation," 1-2:30 p.m. (723-3577).

Feb. 15 and 17: JCC Primetime Series at Allegheny Community Center, 42 Clark St., Warren, Snow Shoeing for Beginners, 1-3 p.m. (723-3577).

Feb. 18: Warren County School District, professional development day for teachers, no school for students.

Feb. 19: "Composting 202," beyond basic composting, by Jeff Carlstrom and Doug Sutton, Master Gardeners, Slater Room, Warren Public Library, 1-2:30 p.m. (563-9388).

Feb. 20: Warren Civic Orchestra, featuring Tine Ting Helseth, trumpet, Struthers Library Theatre, 302 W. Third Ave., Warren, 4 p.m. (ticket admission, 723-9110).

Feb. 21: Warren County School District, professional development day for teachers, no school for students.

Feb. 22: Arts in Education, "The Song of Mulan," Library Theatre, 7:30 p.m.

Feb. 24: Game Night for teens/tweens (ages 10-18). Students join other gaming enthusiasts in the Slater Room in the Warren Public Library to use the library's laptops, Nintendo Wii, GameCube, Guitar Hero and various other games, 3:30 to 7 p.m.

March 3-12: Jack-In-The-Box Players, "The Velveteen Rabbit," Library Theatre, 8 p.m. daily, 2 p.m. on March 6.

March 4: Warren County School District, SCHOOL IS IN SESSION, make up for Dec. 7 snow day.

March 5: Land Owner Appreciation Dinner, Garland Fire Hall sponsored by Warren County Council of Sportsmen's Club (Bill Lyon, 723-8363).

March 15: Warren Public Library Classic Jazz with Chase Putnam, Slater Room, 6-8 p.m.
