CONNEAUTVILLE - Conneaut Valley's Casey Baker tore apart the Tidioute Charter defense, lighting the Bulldogs up for 33 points in an 88-37 victory Monday at Conneaut Valley High School.
The Indians pulled away from TCCS early, outscoring the visitors 26-6 in the opening eight minutes of the game.
"We played hard but we just couldn't put it together," said TCCS coach Dave Manning. "They are a strong team and they ran the ball well. They were hitting their shots. Even in defeat, Matt Brown had a real strong game for us."
Brown finished with a season-high 21 points.
Kendrick Morrison added five points in the loss and Ben Craft and Calvin Marsh each ended with four points.
Shaun Sitterley scored three points to help the Tidioute effort.

The Bulldogs also dropped the junior varsity game, 63-8. Morrison led the Bulldogs with four points. Marsh and Cody Masters each added two markers.
TCCS (0-12) returns to the court Wednesday, hosting East Forest.
