Shawna Deanne Steffan and Sean Ryan Mead were united in marriage on Sept. 25, 2010, at Grace United Methodist Church in Warren. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Kevin Haley. Vocal music was provided by John Misulich and organist Beverly Petersen. A reception immediately followed the ceremony at the St. Paul Center in Sheffield, with music provided by EJ the DJ.
The bride is the daughter of Dave and Shelley Steffan of Sheffield. The groom is the son of Jim and Melody Mead, also of Sheffield.
Escorted down the aisle by her father, the bride wore a Victorian dress by Maggie Sottero. Maid of honor was Kayla Steffan, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Cortney Kusmierski and Ashley Overbeck, friends of the bride, Kristie and Alicia Steffan, cousins of the bride, and Renee Mead, sister-in-law of the bride. Best man was Ahren Mead, brother of the groom. Groomsemen were Adam Elms, Chris Riggle, Jeff Johnson, Mark Buck and JR Geer, all friends of the groom. Kelsey and Alana Stuart, groom's nieces, were the flower girls, and Landon and Trenton Mead, groom's nephews, were the ringbearers.

Pre-nuptial showers were given by Melody Mead, Corinne Kraus, Carissa Stuart, Renee Mead, Kayla Steffan, Alicia Steffan, Kristie Steffan and Julie Steffan. The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at the Woman's Club of Warren.
The bride is a graduate of Sheffield High School and a 2010 graduate of Gannon University's Morosky School of Health Professions with a bachelor's degree in health science. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in physician assistant science. The groom also is a graduate of Sheffield High School. He attended Clarion University and is co-owner of Mead Drilling Company with his brother.
Following a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana, the couple resides in Warren.
