Paul and Melinda Burke of Russell are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Louise Burke, to Ryan Matthew Arthur, son of Rick Arthur and Mary Anne Sharp of Warren.
The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Eisenhower High School and a 2010 graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a degree in speech and hearing sciences. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in speech-language pathology at Buffalo State College. The groom-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Sheffield Area High School and is presently pursuing a degree from Pennsylvania State University for early elementary education. An Aug. 13, 2011, wedding is planned at Cable Hollow Church, Russell.
