ERIE -Winning ugly.
Warren didn't put together an outstanding performance, but left Strong Vincent with a 41-22 non-region win on Monday to start the season at 4-0.
"We rushed some stuff," said Warren coach Lisa Ruhlman. "There's no doubt it was an ugly win, but it was a win."
Warren held Strong Vincent to four points in each of the first three quarters and lead 21-8 at halftime before a 4-4 third quarter.
Jaimie Eaton had six field goals, including two 3-pointers, for 14 points, and Kristin Hultquist had eight points and 11 rebounds in the win. Taylor Mineweaser had eight points and was 5-of-8 at the line for Warren, which hosts Bradford on Wednesday.
Alexa Bupp had 13 points in Warren's 33-5 J.V. win.

Bradford 49, Eisenhower 43
BRADFORD - Lauren Blanco deposited a career-high 22 points, but it wasn't enough as Eisenhower dropped a hard-fought 49-43 decision to Bradford on Monday.
Blanco hit 10 shots from the field, including a pair of deep threes to keep the Lady Knights close, but the balanced attack of the Owls prevented Eisenhower from earning its second victory of the season. Three different Bradford players scored 12 points and a fourth netted 11 markers.
Freshman Kari Santo was next on the score sheet for Eisenhower, finishing with eight points. Lauren Sherry and Alyssa Peterson each had four points. Blanco also led the team in rebounding with seven boards and Sherry chipped in six.
Ike (1-3) is back on the court Wednesday when it visits Conneaut Lake.
Bradford beat Eisenhower in the junior varsity contest, 26-17. Santo led the Knights with 11 points.

Amber Fox had a team-high 11 points, but a 12-4 second quarter put the Eagles in a deficit they couldn't come back from.

Another bad quarter.
TCCS hung right with McDowell B in three of the four quarters on Monday, but a basketball game is four quarters. Tidioute Charter was outscored 19-3 in the second quarter in the loss.
TCCS coach Craig Parrett said the Bulldogs couldn't handle the McDowell press in the second quarter and turned the ball over too many times.
Despite the loss, Cassie York had a season-high 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Tidioute is 0-5.

Kristie Steffan led the Lady Wolverines with 14 points and Abby Labesky chipped in 10. Also scoring for Sheffield were Ashley Davidson with six points and Hannah Vile and Julie Ely with four points each.
