Mandy Johnson and Shawn Proper were united in marriage on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at Inter-Faith Chapel, North Warren. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Walter Venman and the Rev. Todd Venman.
The bride was escorted by her father, James R. Johnson, and her step-father, Robert D. Heckathorn Jr.
The bride is the daughter of James and Jeanette Johnson of Blacksburg, Va., and Robert and Darla Heckathorn of Erie. The groom is the son of Robert and Carol Thompson of Warren.

Marie Groselin of Erie was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Christine Gustafson, Cathleen Zaffino, Suzette Proper and Annette Stewart. Junior bridesmaid was Scotlyn Seyler. Flower girl was Seebe Proper, groom's daughter.
Best man was Denny Schmader. Groomsmen were Danny Schmader, Chad Bailey, Matthew Johnson and Nicholas Bailey. Ringbearer was Ethan Russo, bride's son.
A song was performed with guitar solo by Glen Irwin.
Master and mistress of ceremoneis were Ron and Michelle Grosch. An evening reception was held at the Conewango Valley Country Club.
The bride and groom went on a honeymoon to Las Vegas, Nev., and currently reside in Warren.
