Class to breakfast
Warren Area High School class of 1962 will meet at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, at Perkins for breakfast. After breakfast, the group will go to the Robert Jackson Center in Jamestown where tour guide Steve Massa will talk about the Nuremburg Trial, the history of the mansion, and Chief Justice Jackson.
Lifeguard course
The Warren County YMCA will offer a YMCA Lifeguard Course on Wednesday evenings beginning Jan. 5. This course is for anyone age 16 and older. Jan. 5 will be the water pre-test from 8 to 9 p.m. This pre-test consists of swimming the front crawl stroke, breast stroke, elementary back stroke, side stroke, front dive, under water swimming, treading water, front & back floating, recovering an object from a 12-foot depth and jumping from a height. After completion of the water pre-test, participants can complete the remainder of the course on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. This course also includes American Heart Healthcare Provider CPR & AED training, first aid training and oxygen administration. Breastfeeding support
Mother's Own Milk, a breastfeeding support group for all nursing mothers and their children and for pregnant women, will meet at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, in Classroom B at Warren General Hospital. For more information, call Dawn or Dianne at 726-1093 or 730-7819.
Class to breakfast
Warren High School Class of 1952 will have breakfast at 9 a.m. Thursdasy, Dec. 16, at Perkins in Warren. All classmates, spouses and companions are invited.
YHS concert
The Youngsville High School choir and orchestra will be in concert in the school auditorium at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15. Snow date will be Monday, Dec. 20.
Win at bridge
Winners in Social Bridge Club play at the Woman's Club of Warren Thursday were Carol Lake, first, and Mary Russo, second.
