Alcoa has promoted Scott Darling to the role of Sustainability and Environmental Manager for Alcoa's Rigid Packaging Division.
Darling, who has 19 years of experience with Alcoa, will now have the added responsibility to establish and execute strategic sustainability and environmental compliance requirements for Alcoa's Rigid Packaging Division, which includes the operations in Newburgh, Ind., and in Alcoa, Tenn.
In addition, Darling will be the Sustainability and Environmental Lead for Global Rolled Products, providing leadership to 17 Alcoa locations around the world. He will also continue to manage the environmental, health and safety performance at Warrick Operations.
Darling holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and is a 1982 graduate of Eisenhower High School.
