GIRLS HOOPS: WCCS girls also drop opener

December 4, 2010
The Times Observer

SENECA - The Warren County Christian School's girls basketball season got off to a rough start Friday with a 46-17 loss to Christian Life Academy.

Playing its first game under new coach Rae Parmeter, the Lady Lions were just too young and inexperienced to keep up with a talented CLA team. WCCS trailed 13-4 after the first quarter and 19-8 at the half before CLA extended the lead with 27 second-half points.

Aubree Hendrickson played an outstanding game for the Lady Lions, scoring 11 of their 17 points.

Kim Drake added four points for WCCS and Christina Girard chipped in two.

WCCS also dropped the junior varsity team, 17-2. Kaitlyn McCall scored the team's only bucket in the outing.

The Lady Lions are back in action Tuesday where they will open their home schedule.
