Concert in Meadville

The Academy Theatre in Meadville will once again welcome the Erie Philharmonic with conductor Daniel Meyer as they present their annual Christmas Pops concert on Sunday, Dec. 5, with performances at 2 adn 7 p.m.

The program will be a mix of well-known holiday instrumental pieces and traditional sing-along tunes performed by the world class Erie Philharmonic. From the Nutcracker's "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" to "Jingle Bells," and a medley of tunes from Hollywood holiday favorites, the music is sure to ring in the holiday season with good cheer and amazing quality. The Philharmonic will be joined by the voices of the Crawford County Cantabiles, composed of 35 high school students from regional schools, directed by Mary Lynne Peters.
