‘Santa Arrival’

Warren’s Christmas parade Friday

December 2, 2010
Times Observer

The Christmas Santa Parade at 6 p.m. Friday (on Pennsylvania Ave. W.) will be lots of fun again this year with entries from Blue Ribbon Rental, Warren County Victim Impact Panel, Wild Rose Renaissance Faire, Gold Wing Road Riders Association, WAHS cheerleaders, WAHS Marching Band, Warren County Dairy Princess, Relay For Life of Warren County, Warren County Historical Society trolley, and Atlantic Broadband and others. And if you watch closely you may even catch sight of Bigfoot and Elvis in downtown Warren! And don't forget Santa. He'll be coming into Warren in style courtesy of John Anderson Construction, Rich Perry and Amelia O'Carroll. After the parade Santa will flip the switch on the tree in the front yard of the Warren Municipal Building and Christmas in Warren will "officially" begin. Santa will then be in the Santa House on Liberty Street between Cady's Hallmark and McKissock to hear the Christmas wishes of anyone who wants to stop and visit. There will also be some wonderful lights and decorations provided by Volt Vision to admire while you wait to see Santa. Satna House hours will continue in December (sponsored by Tybout House Dec. 3-4 and by Northwest Savings Bank Dec. 17-18).
