Donald and Lori Stearns of Russell and Dave and Chris Jones of Pittsfield have announced the engagement of their children, Megan Stearns and Kyle Jones.
Megan, a 2005 graduate of Eisenhower High School, earned a degree in molecular biology in 2009 from Millersville University. Kyle, a 2006 graduate of Youngsville High School earned a degree in geology in 2010 from Edinboro University. Both are employed at University of Buffalo where they are working on advanced degrees.
An Aug. 20, 2011, wedding is planned.
