Watson Township adopts adult entertainment ordinance

October 25, 2010
The Times Observer

The Watson Township Supervisors adopted an Adult Entertainment Ordinance at their Oct. 20 meeting.

Work on the proposed 2011 budget is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24.

On Oct. 9, the supervisors conducted fall road inspection and found township roads to be in good shape. Road crews will be installing reflective markers on Dunham Mills Road and Buckeye Lane.

The supervisors reminded property owners to clean out leaves and limbs from their driveway culvert pipes.

They received a request from a property owner on Route 62 for a 'Hidden Driveway' and 'Watch For Children' signs, and PennDOT will be contacted.

Estimated allocation of Municipal Liquid Fuels for 2011 will be $7,825. The township received $2,121.94 for the Volunteer Fire Relief Association Distribution to be distributed equally between the Cherry Grove, Pleasant, and Tidioute volunteer fire departments, which the township has agreements with.
