MEADVILLE - A young Warren County Christian School team was eliminated from the New Penn Christian Conference playoffs Monday at Meadville Calvary Baptist.
The Lady Lions, without a senior on the roster, finish the season at 6-7 overall.
"The girls have a lot of skills, and they know what to do and they know how to do it," said WCCS coach Marlene Zwald. "They are young and the pressure slows them down."
The Lions fell 14-25, 6-25, 25-23 and 14-25.
Allyssa Kerr had 10 service points, five aces, six digs and two kills, Christina Girard three kills, seven assists and three digs, Aubree Hendrickson 13 points, four aces and six digs, and Dymphee Zortman two aces, two kills and three digs.
"If they stay together, they do have skills (to succeed in the future)," said Zwald.

OIL CITY -It all comes down to the last match of the season.
Tidioute Community wanted its first winning season in the charter school's history, and its last match is at 6 p.m. Thursday at home.
And the Bulldogs are currently 6-6 after a 19-25, 21-25, 20-25 loss on the road.
Loralee Lindemuth had five aces and seven kills, Cassie York six digs and two blocks, Lacy Wolford four aces, nine digs and two kills, and Allison Konkle one ace and nine assists in the loss.
Robbi Kitelinger had three aces and two kills in a 25-18, 22-25, 25-18 J.V. win. Teammate Anna Lindemuth had nine aces and four kills and Michaela Mohrey four aces and two kills for Tidioute Charter.
On Thursday, the Bulldogs host Erie East in a "Pink Out" at Tidioute Charter. Also senior night at Tidioute Charter, the Bulldogs will show support to those who have had their lives affected by breast cancer. During the school day on Thursday, students are being asked to wear as much pink as they can and then also do the same for the game that night.
