Tidioute Community Charter improved to 5-4 on Friday with a come-from-behind volleyball win over visiting East Forest.
Assistant coach Dave Manning said the experienced Bulldogs played well in the first game and played even better in the fourth and fifth games, respectively, to win 25-17, 21-25, 21-25, 25-8 and 15-8.
"In the fourth game, they just came back and fought through it," said Manning, who coached in place of head coach Margie Manning, who had a travel conflict. "I think a couple years ago, they might not have come through."
Allison Konkle had 16 assists, Alexis Morrison 18 digs, Loralee Lindemuth 12 kills and five digs and Cassie York 17 service points, including 10 in a row in the game-one win.
Tidioute's J.V. team won, 25-12, 25-8. Michaela Mohrey had three kills and Kassidy Altman three aces in the win.
