Warren County Christian School's volleyball team improved to 6-5 overall on Monday with a 25-17, 25-20 and 25-8 sweep of visiting Jamestown Bethel Baptist.
"Finally in the third game we woke up," said WCCS coach Casey Ferry. "We had a lot that were sick today (so we weren't in sync)."
Ferry said serving runs by Aubree Hendrickson in the second game and 14 service points to start the third game by Allyssa Kerr saved the Lady Lions.
Kerr finished with nine aces and two kills and Hendrickson six aces and four kills. Dymphee Zortman had two kills for WCCS.

"We would be ahead by eight points, then we'd let them get ahead eight," said TCCS coach Margie Manning, whose Bulldogs host East Forest on Friday.
Lacy Wolford had four aces, 14 service points and six digs, Cassie York two aces and six kills and Allison Konkle three aces and four assists.
Robbi Kitelinger had three aces, two kills and two digs in a 20-25, 22-25 junior varsity loss.
