Dr. Jessica Thiessen and Marc Long were married Oct. 17, 2009, at Maple Grove Methodist Church in Columbus, Ohio, by the Rev. Bill Croy and Deacon James Rouse. The bride's brother, Matt Thiessen, of the rock band Relient K, wrote, played and sang a song at the wedding.
The bride is the daughter of Elwyn and Elizabeth Hock of Bolivar, Ohio, and Arnold and Stephanie Thiessen of Canada. The groom is the son of Thelma Long and the late Kevin Long of Ebensburg, Pa., former Warren residents.
The matron of honor was Sarah Lint of Bolivar, Ohio, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kate Ascher and Dr. Laurie Hommema, friends of the bride, of Columbus, Ohio. and Alexis Wheeler, friend of the bride of Chicago, Ill.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Miami of Ohio and a 2008 graduate of Ohio State University. She is a doctor at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Warren Area High and a 2004 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology. He is a product and market specialist at Cardinal Health in Columbus, Ohio.
A reception was held at the Crowne Plaza in Dublin, Ohio. The couple honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico, and reside in Columbus, Ohio.
