On Saturday, Sept. 18, the Allegheny National Forest Chapter of the North Country Trail met at Henry's Mills Trailhead Saturday to clear a path for the SCA crew to make new trail. This is about a mile of new trail going down the side of a mountain. Volunteers cleared brush, trees, and grass so the SCA crew will have an easier time building the trail. A brief published Wednesday erroneously said the clearing was doing done by the Allegheny Outdoor Club.
