Kelsey Dickerson graduated on May 22 from Jamestown Community College registered nursing program. Of the 65 graduating students, Dickerson was one of four accepted into the nursing program directly from high school. She was on the dean's list for both the fall and spring semesters and graduated with honors. She has passed her NCLEX licensing boards and is employed full-time in the TCU Unit at Hamot Medical Center, Erie. Dickerson is continuing her studies with the anticipation of obtaining a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is a 2008 graduate of Warren Area High School and is the daughter of James and Elaine Dickerson of Warren.

Michael Robert Zigler, MPAS-C, recently graduated with a master's degree in physician assistance science from Gannon University, Erie. After completing clinical rotations in seven fields, he has accepted a position as a surgical physician assistant with Orthopedic Associates of Chambersburg in Chambersburg, Pa.. He is the son of Rob and Tina Zigler of Warren.

Sophie Dorn of Warren has been named to the dean's list for the fall and spring semesters of the 2009-10 academic year at Edinboro University with a 4.0 grade average each semester. Dorn is majoring in elementary education, early childhood development and special education. She is a member of National Education Honor Society, Kappa Delta Pi, plays saxophone in the Fighting Scots Marching Band (for which she is a section leader and personnel director) and plays violin in the Edinboro String Ensemble. Dorn was on the staff of Warren County Summer Music School this summer and entered her senior year at Edinboro this fall. She is the daughter of Caroline and David Dorn of Warren and is a 2007 graduate of Warren Area High School.

Jacob Andrew Tutmaher of Sugar Grove, a junior majoring in physics at the University of Rochester (N.Y.), has been named to the dean's list for the spring 2010 semester. Tutmaher is the son of Paul and Rebecca Tutmaher and is a graduate of Eisenhower High School.

Mark Andrew Werner of Sheffield, a junior majoring in chemistry at the University of Rochester (N.Y.), has been named to the dean's list for the spring 2010 semester. Werner is the son of John and Gloria Werner and is a graduate of Sheffield Area High School.

David Loranger of Warren has been recognized as a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda, a national leadership and honors organization, at Northeastern University. The group is dedicated to promoting and rewarding academic achievement and providing members with opportunities for community service, personal development and professional fulfillment.

Tyler J. Leichtenberger, son of Tricia Leichtenberger of Warren and Carol Leichtenberger of Pittsfield, has enrolled for fall 2010 admission at Rochester Institute of Technology. He plans to major in mechanical engineering in Kate Gleason College of Engineering. Leichtenberger, a 2010 graduate of Warren Area High School, has received the RIT Presidential Scholarship.
