- September 18 & October 9: 'Watershed Education Teacher Workshop' Watershed Education is a long-term interdisciplinary education program which encourages students to explore all aspects of their watershed, including history, culture, economics, ecology, and human impact. Participation in this program provides the teacher with an opportunity to meet several of the environment and ecology, math, and social studies education standards. Teachers will receive a teacher's manual and have the option to receive ACT 48 hours. Workshop conducted at the Log Cabin Inn Environmental Learning Classroom. Please bring a bag lunch, rain gear, and proper stream footwear, refreshments provided. Cost is $125/person with checks made out to 'Commonwealth of Pennsylvania'.
