Margaret Helen Donham, 87, of Shady Ridge Road, Russell, PA, passed on Friday, August 27, 2010 at Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA., following a lengthy illness.
Margaret was born March 1, 1923 in Warren, PA., the daughter of the late Henry and Anna Swanson Blick Sr. She was a lifelong area resident and a 1941 graduate of Warren High School. Margaret went on to the U.S. Marine Corp, serving as a chaplain's assistant in Camp Lejune, N.C. and in Washington, D.C. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Warren, where she was the organist for over sixty years. She also studied piano under the late LeRoy B. Campbell for the Warren Conservatory of Music. She was also the piano player for the Philomel Chorus. Margaret was employed at the U.S. Forest Service as a secretary for thirteen years, retiring in 1978.
She is survived by her husband Robert A. Donham, whom she married on November 16, 1950; a daughter, Barb Fletcher and her husband Daniel, Seattle, WA.; one son Brian Donham and his wife Kathy, Havelock, N.C.; a brother, Henry F. Blick Jr. and his wife Mary, Warren, PA.; four grandchildren, Elisabeth Lind and her husband Steve, Anna Fletcher, and Nathan Fletcher, all of Seattle, WA., and Kyle Donham and his wife Alison, New Bern, N.C.; two greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Peterson Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Monday August 30, from 68 p.m. and on Tuesday August 31, at the Calvary Baptist Church, 445 Conewango Ave. Warren for one hour prior to a funeral service be held there at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mike Mullins, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, PA,
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Calvary Baptist Church.
