Dan and Autumn Doherty of 99 Duncan Blvd., Warren, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on May 15 at the Conewango Club in Warren. Their four children and their spouses, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren enjoyed a buffet dinner. The event was hosted by their children, Dan, Cheryl, Michael and Thomas Doherty.
The couple was married April 29, 1945
A video tribute was prepared and presented by granddaughter Michelle Doherty. The couple met while both serving with the US Coast Guard in Maine during WWII. Autumn is a lifelong Warren resident; Dan originally hails from Green Bay, WI, and retired from PennBank after nearly 40 years.
