Jammers fall to 1-2

June 20, 2010
The Times Observer

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. - The Jammers got a 3-for-3 effort from catcher Wilfredo Gimenez, who homered and had both Jamestown RBI, but couldn't overcome a shaky start to drop to 1-2 against Mahoning Valley on Sunday at Diethrick Park.

Alvaro Estevez allowed five runs, four earned, over the first two innings, walking three in a 9-2 loss in the New York-Penn League.

The Jammers are at Williamsport over the next three days for games 3, 4 and 5 on the season.
