Benjamin L. Morelli of North Warren has been named to the honor roll at Oregon State University, Corvallis, with a grade average of 3.5 or better. Morelli is a senior ecological engineering major.

Zachary V. Papalia, a 2007 graduate of Warren Area High School and current Penn State junior at University Park, has been named to the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. To qualify, Papalia was ranked in the top seven percent of his class and must conform his academic posture to the society motto: "Let the love of learning rule humanity." Papalia also was recently named president of the Penn State Kinesiology Club for 2010-2011.

Kelly Dawn Brose of Pittsfield has been named to the honors list at Mary Baldwin College, Staunton, Va. She is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Patrick Brose. Students qualify for honors list with grade point averages of 3.75-4.0 and are degree candidates who have maintained high grade point averages over a semester (of at least 12 credit hours). Brose also earned the Thompson Psychology Award that is given to a senior psychology major who has demonstrated academic excellence in the field of psychology.
