Dillon Farrell earns Eagle Scout Award

Dillon F. Farrell received his Eagle Scout Award at a Court of Honor held April 25 at the Conewango Club of Warren. He is the son of Dr. Patrick S. and Anne Marie Farrell of Russell and is a senior at Eisenhower High School where he lettered in football, wrestling and trap.

Dillon has been a member of Troop 14 from Tiger Cubs to present. In addition to many positions held within his troop, he was inducted into the Order of the Arrow. Dillon's Eagle Project was designing, building and installing 18 specially designed bird houses for nesting research being conducted at the Jamestown Audubon Society.

Dillon is also a staff sergeant in the Civil Air Patrol and a member of National Honor Society and the EHS Mentoring Program. This year, in addition to attending Eisenhower, he is in the dual enrollment program through St. Bonaventure University-Pine Grove Campus.

Dillon has been accepted to Penn State University, University Park, and plans to major in international politics. He is a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Warren.
