Critters at the Library
Family Fun Night at the Sugar Grove Free Library was held April 14 from 6 p.m. 7:30 p.m. The library was a packed house to see The Audubon Celebrating National Library Week. Jennifer Schlick, a Program and Camp Director of the Audubon Center and Sanctuary of Jamestown, N.Y., was reading books about freshwater wetland habitats. She then introduced all the parents, children and interested visitors to some of Audubon's live education animals. These critters would normally be found in their wetland habitat at the Audubon, but they now live in the nature center building and are considered part of the Audubon's teaching staff. Snakes, turtles and more were on hand to excite or scare all those in attendance. This was just one of the many activities planned around National Library Week at the Sugar Grove Free Library.
