Silver Rose event
Sugar Grove Post #50 Commander Jeff VanArsdale, Auxiliary #50 Fundraising Chair Elaine Smith, Auxiliary #50 President Michelle Williams and Warren County Silver Rose Chair Laurel Lee Fajbik were all on hand at the Silver Rose Fund Raiser.”
AMVETS Post #50 in Sugar Grove, AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary and the Sons of AMVETS recently held a fundraiser supporting the efforts of the Warren County Silver Rose. The mission of the Order of the Silver Rose is to recognize the courage, heroism and contributions of American service personnel found to have been exposed to Agent Orange in a combat zone. Those exposures result in internal, invisible wounds, which are revealed only by the passage of time. Ms. Fajbik brought the program to Warren County after realizing so many have been affected and personally touched her life.

SGES Ice Cream Social
The Sugar Grove Elementary School CPT (Concerned Parent/Teacher Organization) will be holding the Annual Ice Cream Social and Choice Auction this year on April 22nd.
A choice auction is an event where donated items are won through a ticket raffle. You receive a list of numbered items prior to the auction. You may purchase a chance on as many items as you choose and as often as you choose. At this time, many of the Community businesses and Sugar Grove families are donating some great items needed to make the event a success. Are you a great cook, love to make crafts, or good at woodworking? Then we need you. Many items have been donated in that past and some examples include bread, pies, candies, craft items, gift certificates, certificates for service, gas cards, concert tickets, and even cash. The ideas are endless. The school can use all items for adults and children.
Faculty and Parents of the Choice Auction Committee are working with local business to acquire the many donations necessary for the auction to be a success. The more donations we receive the more tickets that will be sold. Please contact the school for a donation form if you can help out by donating items.
The proceeds for the evening's events benefit the Sugar Grove Elementary School CPT which provide in many ways for our students.
