GARY HULINGS

Gary A. Hulings, 61, of 6 Richland Lane, Warren, Pa. went home to his Lord and Savior Friday evening, April 9, 2010 at the Warren General Hospital Emergency Room shortly after arrival, surrounded with the love of his family.

He was born January 1, 1949 in Kane, Pa. and has resided in Warren for the past 38 years. He was formerly of Sheffield, Pa., where he was a 1967 graduate of Sheffield High School. Gary was employed as a welder with the former Struthers Wells Corpora-tion from 1970 until their closing. He then went to school at the Warren County Vocational Techni-cal School, specifically for licensed practical nursing. He graduated and was employed with the Warren State Hospital as a licensed practical nurse working there for 12 years retiring due to disability in 1996. He was a member of the Good News Church and the McDonald's Morning Coffee Club.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Stein Hulings whom he would have been married to for 39 years on April 24 and was married in Sheffield, Pa., his mother, Joanne Spence Hulings Lacy and her husband, Datus of Sheffield, Pa., 1 Daughter - Brielle Reitz and her husband, Jon and their daughter Emily all of Warren, Pa., Gregg Hulings of Warren, Pa., Michael Hulings and his wife, Theresa and their children - David and Zachary Hulings all of Warren, Pa. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Hulings.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, Pa. on Monday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. followed by a funeral and committal service at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Toby Holland, Pastor of Good News Church, officiating.

ESTIE HELLMAN

Estie Fink Hellman, 86, of 830 Chapman Dam Road, Clarendon, PA, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Warren Manor.

Mrs. Hellman was born March 25, 1924, in Warren, PA., the daughter of the late Harry and Inez Cook Fink Springer. Mrs. Hellman was a lifelong area resident and had worked at Beaty Jr. High School, and at the Allegheny Valley School in the cafeteria from which she retired. Estie had also worked at Struthers Wells as a welder during WWII and Warren Components. She was a member of the Clarendon United Methodist Church and had enjoyed knitting, flower gardening, family, grandkids, and great grandkids.

She is survived by three daughters, Marlene Kay and husband William, Clarendon, PA., Joann Haight, Fletcher, N.C., and Trudy Martin and husband George, Russell, PA.; a son John "Jack" Hellman, Clarendon, PA.; two sisters, Elsie Daglish, Youngsville, PA., and Mary Lou Lindell, Russell, PA.; a brother, David Fink, Warren, PA.; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one step grandchild; and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death on February 8, 1993 by her husband John J. Hellman, whom she married on April 4, 1947; a brother, Howard Fink; an infant brother; a granddaughter, Jamie Retterer in 1997; and her step father, Ernest Springer.

Friends may call at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Tuesday April 13, 2010, from 6-8 p.m. and for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held there on Wednesday April 14, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Martin Reynolds, pastor, Clarendon United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in the Warren County Memorial Park.
