A crew from the Allegheny National Forest plus a team of workers from Federal Correctional Institution-McKean, cut down dozens of trees last week to improve the view of the Allegheny Reservoir from the Rimrock Overlook. The tallest of the trees cut were in the 80- to 90-foot range. The last major cut in the area was over 20 years ago. One of the ANF sawyers was Jerry Dixon, shown above.
