Jeremiah Richard "Miah" Newark, 28, of 62 Wilderness Park, Clarendon, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at his residence.

Jeremiah was born March 27, 1981, in Warren. He was a graduate of Warren Area High School, where he played football and was Captain his senior year. He attended Edinboro University to become a High School Social Studies teacher. Jeremiah always dreamed of coaching football, loved Rock and Roll, singing, playing guitar, music, hunting and enjoyed watching football. He was an avid Penn State and Buffalo Bills fan. Jeremiah always said " Rock and Roll, saved my soul''. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp and attended the Calvary Chapel, Russell.

He is survived by his wife, Khadija Bullis Newark; his mother, Christine York Hoskin and her husband Robert of Sugar Grove; his father, Richard Newark and his wife Cheryll of Simi Valley Ca.; two sons, Jakob Newark age 9 and Jackson Newark age 3, both at home; Kara Freeborough and a step daughter, Kharma Wilkins age 4; three brothers, Joshua C. Newark and his wife Janelle, York, PA; Nick Hoskin and Nate Hoskin, both of Warren, Timothy A. Conklin, Jr. and his wife Julie, Ashville, NY; a sister, Jennifer L. Burgeson and her husband Reede, Lakewood, NY; a nephew, Landon; and four nieces, Hayden, Carlyn, Nora, and Naomi; grandparents, Richard S. Newark and his wife Marcia, Susan Weiler Reynolds, and David and Joyce York.

He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Dianne Newark in 1993 and a grandfather Mike Reynolds in 2006.

Friends may call at the Peterson Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from, 68 p.m., where a memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 11, at 11:00 am, with Rev. David Andrew York and Rev. Jeffrey York , co officiating.

Burial will be in the Weiler Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to a Trust Fund for the benefit of Jeremiah's son's Jakob and Jackson Newark, at any Northwest Savings Bank location.
