The following students were named to the dean's list at St. Bonaventure University for the fall 2009 semester: Lindsey Culbertson, a sophomore accounting major from Warren, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Culbertson; Dominica Luzzi, a sophomore journalism-mass communications major from Warren, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Albaugh; Chelsey Rashid, a junior biology major from Warren, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Rashid; and Elsa Schwab, a freshman from Warren, daughter of Shelly Vanord.

Lindsey Berg has been named to the dean's list for the 2009 fall semester at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, Mount Vernon, Ohio. The dean's list includes all students who carried a minimum of 12 credit hours and have maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or above for the semester. Berg, a freshman majoring in biology/pre-med, achieved a 3.72 grade point average. This is her first semester attaining dean's list. A 2009 graduate of Warren Area High School, she is the daughter of Stan and Maureen Berg of North Warren.

Shallin Munksgard, Warren, attended the University Park campus and earned a bachelor of arts degree in integrative arts. Burfoot Ward, North Warren, attended the Erie campus and earned a two-year degree in electrical engineering technology. Russell resident Rachel Yaegle was named to the dean's list for the 2009 fall semester at Messiah College, Grantham, Pa. Yaegle is a senior majoring in English. Dean's list is earned by receiving a 3.6 grade average or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Gregory D.. Wiltsie graduated from Penn State University on Dec. 19, 2009, with a bachelor of science degree in forest management. He is a member of the Xi Sigma Pi Honor Society and served as president during the fall 2009 semester and is a member of the Society of American Foresters. He is a 2005 graduate of Warren Area High School and is the son of Timothy and Debra Wiltsie of Warren.
