Senior centers plan busy December week
Lunches
Warren-Forest Area Agency on Aging will serve lunch at Conewango Towers, Warren Senior Center and Warren Senior Community Center from Feb. 8-12: Monday, sauerkraut and hot dog; Tuesday, sloppy joes; Wednesday, stuffed shells; Thursday, meatloaf; Friday, fish. Locations at Marienville, Sheffield, Sugar Grove, Tidioute, Youngsville and Endeavor will serve menus from Monday, Tuesday and Friday for the three-day sights. Eligible participation is 60 years and older with a suggested donation of $3. Call 723-3763 for information regarding congregate meal sites or center locations. Menu is subject to change based on availability.

Cabin fever is about to set in for all of us. If this is the case with you and you are ready to get out just call us at 968-5667 and our bus will pick you up to visit the center. We not only have great lunches we offer card games, pool, bingo or you can just sit and relax with friends.
Tax season is rapidly approaching and the VITA volunteers will be here on Feb. 19, March 12 & 26 from 9-3. This is a free service for those on a fixed income, homebound or disabled. Call 968-5667 for your appointment.
Saturday, Feb. 6, is community lunch day from 11-1 and we will be serving chicken noodle soup and homemade pie for a donation.
Card party is Saturday, Feb. 20, from 7 p.m. until ?. Enjoy a night out to play pool, cards, games on Wii or just come to snack. Please bring your favorite snack to share.
Easter bags are being filled for our shut ins and if you would like to support this event we are askinf for donations of wrapped candy, snack items or fresh fruit. Please no canned items.
Chicago trip is filling up nicely so if you would like a brochure please give us a call. The Alaska trip has generated a lot of interest and plans are now being finalized. This trip is from Aug. 26-Sept. 3 and does require a passport or government ID available at the Warren post office.

Cafe 905 is a great place to hold your parties, class reunion, or family gatherings. There is comfortable seating for a large group in the warm and inviting surroundings. A reasonable fee applies. Call Betty Jo at 723-3763 to make your reservation.
A Mardi Gras party will be held Tuesday, Feb. 16, Fat Tuesday. Music, food and more are planned.
A 55 Alive renewal course will be offered at the center from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdsay, Feb. 23. AARP members will pay $12, and non members will pay $14. To register, bring prior class certificate. Call 723-4180 to register. Check with your insurance company for requirements and discount deals.
When Warren or Forest schools are closed, centers within those areas will be closed and no home meals will be delivered. For your safety, stay home.
A trip to Salamanca Casino is planned for Wednesday, Feb. 24, leaving Big Lots parking lot at 9 a.m. and returning at 5 p.m. No membership is required. Anyone age 21 and older is invited. Call the center at 723-4180 for reservations. Cost is $20 with a voucher given by the casino.
