Judge accepts defendants’ pleas

Warren County Judge Maureen Skerda accepted guilty pleas from the following defendants on Jan. 14 during plea court proceedings:

Jennifer Lynn Snyder, 1108 Madison Ave., to possession with intent to deliver and criminal use of a communications facility; a second count of possession with intent to deliver, two more counts of criminal use of a communications facility, three counts of endangering welfare of child and a count of criminal conspiracy (possession with intent to deliver) were not prosecuted. Snyder was ordered to pay all costs and a $320 fine.

Estevan A. Allen, 268 Main St., Tidioute, to retail theft; a second count of retail theft was not prosecuted.

Gary S. Bedow, 107 E. Hemlock St., Titusville, guilty to DUI: highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16 plus) and careless driving; counts of DUI: general impairment-incapable of safe driving, driving on roadways laned for traffic, driving vehicle at safe speed, restraint systems and vehicle turning left were not prosecuted.

Josh Joseph Bodistow, 136 School St., Kane, to resisting arrest or other law enforcement and retail theft; a count of disorderly conduct was not prosecuted.

Jessica Marie Campbell, 229 Pennsylvania Ave. W., Apt. 2, to retail theft, which was amended to a misdemeanor 3.

Daniel Jay Christensen, 8 Holly St., Apt. C5, to theft by deception, which was amended to a misdemeanor 2; two more counts of theft by deception, three counts of access device fraud and a count of theft of property lost, mislaid or delivered were not prosecuted. Christensen was ordered to pay full restitution.

Daniel Paul Davidson, 2 Curtis Rd. Ext., Ludlow, to DUI: general impairment-incapable of safe driving, driving while operating privilege is suspended/revoked, accident involving damage to unattended vehicle/property; counts of driver required to be licensed, driving vehicle at safe speed, operation of vehicle without official certification of inspection, and violations of use of certificate of inspection were not prosecuted. Davidson was ordered to pay full restitution.

Vanessa Michelle Fox, 212 Bates St. Youngsville, to false reports to law enforcement authorities; counts of criminal conspiracy (theft by unlawful taking), theft by unlawful taking, and receiving stolen property were not prosecuted.

Lindsay Ryan Head, 3237 Levant Gerry Rd., Falconer, N.Y., to obscene and other sexual materials.

Michael John Hutley, 215 Fulton St., Jamestown, N.Y., to retail theft; counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and defiant trespass were not prosecuted.

Jacob Charles Jordan, 3 Berry St., North Warren, to possession of controlled substance, theft from a motor vehicle, and criminal attempt (theft from a motor vehicle); a second count of possession of controlled substance, three more counts of theft from a motor vehicle, and loitering and prowling at night time were not prosecuted. Jordan was ordered to pay full restitution.

Matthew Daniel Morschhauser, 3815 English Ave. Erie, to criminal trespass loitering and prowling at night time; a second count of criminal trespass and counts of criminal mischief, criminal conspiracy (theft by unlawful taking), recklessly endangering another person, theft by unlawful taking or disposition, disorderly conduct and two counts of burglary were not prosecuted. Morschhauser was ordered to pay full restitution.

Angel Louise Phelps, 124 N. Main St., Clarendon, to theft by unlawful taking and a second charge of unlawful taking which was amended to a misdemeanor 1; two counts of theft by receiving stolen property were not prosecuted. Phelps was ordered to pay full restitution.

Glenn Edward Rudd, 7264 Coleman Mills Rd., Rome, N.Y., to DUI: highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16 plus), accident with damage to attended vehicle/property, and driving while under suspension; counts of DUI: general impairment-incapable of safe driving, possession-small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, investigation by police officer, driving vehicle at safe speed, careless driving, and immediate notice of accident to police dept.

Justin Eugene Smith, 506 Buchanan St., to simple assault; a second count of simple assault and counts of aggravated assault and harassment were not prosecuted.

James Anthony Sullivan, 210 East St., Apt. 3, to DUI: highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16 plus); counts of DUI: general impairment-incapable of safe driving, stop signs and yield signs, and turning movements and required signals were not prosecuted.

The following defendants entered not guilty pleas:

Michelle Leigh Cuttler, 512 Tidioute Enterprise Rd. Tidioute, to DUI: general impairment-incapable of safe driving, DUI: general impairment-incapable of safe driving with accident, DUI: highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16+), driving on right side of roadway, driving on roadways laned for traffic, and careless driving.

Joshua John Dyke, 1447 Reynolds Run Rd., Russell, to terroristic threats and disorderly conduct.

Michael L. Fredericks, 5 Hemlock Rd., to aggravated assault (extreme indifference), simple assault, and two counts of criminal trespass.

Steven M. Gaddy, 229 Pennsylvania Ave. W., to burglary and theft by unlawful taking.

Ryan K. Holcomb, 803 Chase Drive, to simple assault and harassment.

Matthew C. Hovey, 220 Pennsylvania Ave. W., Apt. 2, to DUI: general impairment-incapable of safe driving, DUI: highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16 plus), traffic control signals, driver required to be licensed and restraint systems.

Matthew Robert Kuzminski, 3 Depot St., Irvine, to possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of small amount of marijuana.

Douglas Gene Muzzy, 603 Beech St., to two counts of terroristic threats and two counts of retaliation against witness or victim.

Christina Lynn Potter, 1613 1/2 Madison Ave., to three counts of bad checks.

Daniel Eric Ristau, 1263 Griff Hill Rd., Clarendon, to DUI: general impairment-incapable of safe driving, DUI: highest rate of alcohol (BAC .16 plus), careless driving, driving on roadways laned for traffic, restraint systems, restriction on alcoholic beverages, driving vehicle at safe speed, and DUI: general impairment-incapable of safe driving with accident.

Michele R. Snider, 2027 Pennsylvania Ave. E., Apt. 8, to theft by deception and bad checks.

The following defendant entered no contest pleas:

Andy Loomis, 238 Butternut Court, to two counts of statutory sexual assault; four more counts of statutory sexual assault, two counts of aggravated indecent assault, four counts of indecent assault, and five counts of corruption of minors were not prosecuted.
