Geraldine Miller and Chad Lyter were united in marriage on July 11, 2009 at the Christ United Methodist Church, Olean, N.Y. The Rev. Kristin Allen presided over the ceremony, assisted by Ann Thomas, sister of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Miller of Youngsville, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Lyter of Bradford.
The bride was attended by maid of honor Karen Loucks, friend of the bride; and bridal attendants Grace Backstrom and Gayle Kerman, sisters of the bride, and Kristen Lyter and Katie Lyter, daughters of the groom.

Brian Lyter, son of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Irvin Lyter, father of the groom; Cliff Lyter, brother of the groom; and Glenn Miller, brother of the bride. James Robert Miller, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.
Musicians for the ceremony were Judy Pastore; Marcia Wymer; William Fancher; Sarah Monticue, niece of the bride; and a choir of music students of the bride.
A reception for the couple was held at the Premier Banquet Center in Olean.
Out-of-town guests attended from New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Arkansas, Idaho, Massachusetts, Nevada and California.
The bride is a graduate of Youngsville High School and earned a bachelor's degree from Mansfield University and a master's degree from Ithaca College. She is a vocal music teacher at Allegany-Limestone Central School in Allegany, N.Y.
The groom is a graduate of Bradford High School and earned a bachelor's degree from Penn State University and a master's degree from St. Bonaventure University. He is a biology teacher, also at Allegany-Limestone Central School in Allegany.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Maine and reside at 4036 S. Nine Mile Rd., Allegany, N.Y., 14706.
