Tidioute High School Alumni Association need your help.
The association is missing the 569 addresses for former students and graduates of Tidioute/Tidioute Community Charter School, your help is needed in obtaining these addresses. Several Tidioute High School Alumni have been working hard for the past few months locating addresses for 958 individuals and they are still trying to locate the missing addresses.

Tidioute Girl Scouts decorated this Christmas tree for the Tidioute Senior Center as a service project.
Due to the new E-911 address changes, they are not permitted to put R.D. 1 or R. D. 2 as addresses anymore, they are required to have the new addresses. If you have a little time to review the "Missing List" and to get some addresses, please contact Sandy Jamieson at 814-484-7286, to get a copy of the list, or you can call and give Sandy your address or the addresses of friends or family members, or to find out if you might be on the "Missing List".
Also, copies of the "Missing List" have been placed at the Tidioute Public Library, Tidioute Towers, Polly's ShurSave Market, and Tidioute True Value for anyone to review and add addresses.
The current Reunion committee consists of Nancy Schwab, Nancy Coughlin, Kay Serafini, Sandy Jamieson, Arletta Marsh, Nellie Miller, Kelley McKean, Jean Kitelinger, Janet Anderson, Sarah McLaughlin, Lena Rison, Gretchen Laubach and Judy Klinestiver.
The Tidioute High School Alumni Reunion will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2010 and plans call for a Program at Tidioute Community Charter School, with a dinner and dance at the Firehall that evening.
Meetings of the Alumni Association are held the first Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Tidioute Public Library and all former students and alumni are more than welcome to attend these meetings to help plan the event.
Please consider giving a helping hand.
The Buccardo Gas-Restaurant will be opening soon.
The papers were signed and the cleanup has begun for the initial opening day.
Hours will be Monday through Friday 6 a.m. till 9 p.m., Saturdays 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 7 a.m. till 2 p.m.
There will be daily specials and homemade desserts and yes the gas pumps will be in working order and operating.
New owners are Frank and Lynn Buccardo.
The U.S. Census Bureau is currently recruiting to fill jobs for the 2010 Census in our area.
Wages are competitive and are considerably higher than minimum wages. In addition, authorized travel is reimbursed.
If you are interested in taking the basic skill tests required for employment by the Census Bureau, a test site has been established in Tidioute in the Tidioute Firehall on Main Street.
Testing times are every Thursday at 6 p.m. and every Saturday at 10a.m. until further notice.
When you contact the 1-866-861-2010 number you will be directed to the Erie Census office. At that time you will have an opportunity to choose a test site near you.
Super Bowl Soups
It's that time of year when the Tidioute First Methodist Church will be hosting their famous Super Bowl Soup Sales.
This year it will on Sunday, Feb. 7, from noon until all the soup is sold.
You can eat in and have a bowl of soup, crackers, dessert and beverage for $5 or get the take out.
A 16-ounce container will be $4 and a 20-ounce container will be $4.50.
Some of the soups will be vegetable beef, chicken noodle, chili, ham and bean, with more to be announced as they are confirmed.
Health and Dental
Committee members of the Tidioute Area Health and Dental Center will meet on Monday, Jan. 18, at 7 p.m. at St. John Center for their regular monthly meeting.
Tidioute VFW will be holding their annual Chili Cook-off on Feb. 27 at noon.

Senior Center busy
Members of the Tidioute Senior Center have begun exercises.
On Monday Lynn Espin from the Area On Aging office in Warren came to Tidioute Senior Center to go over some exercises with those who were present for the day.
Members of all ages took part in the exercises.
