Cambridge Warren celebrates the holidays

January 12, 2010
The Times Observer

Residents of Cambridge Warren enjoyed various holiday activities. They started the season with the Warren Area Madrigal Choir under the direction of Rob Pierce. Other entertainment included the Grace United Methodist Church Madrigal Choir, under the direction of Bev Moore.

With the help of Mike Soliday, The Otter Express puppet program entertained. Children from Saint Joe's School brought holiday cheer along with the Warren Area Student Union that shared their version of a Christmas theater program, Jammer band provided music and Rich Rawson came with his accordion for some foot tapping music. Allegheny Bells brought some nice footwork in their Santa attire.

Brett Fallon along with his dance group Dance Elite was something to cheer about. The Conewango Clippers came with their harmonies and voices. People from the Area Agency on Aging caroled though out the hallway bringing holiday cheer.

The highlight of our season was the annual holiday celebration held on December 13 with residents, family and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Claus made their way in the hearts of young and old. We held our annual Door Decorating contest the judges this year were Judge Greg Hammond, Warren Mayor Mark Phillips, State Representative Kathy Rapp's staff member Cindy Morrison.

The staff and residents wish to thank everyone who helped make this a special holiday season for the residents of Cambridge.
