A chimney fire on an Amish farm in Freehold Township Tuesday afternoon damaged approximately 80 percent of the structure.
Wrightsville Volunteer Fire Department First Assistant Chief Ed Nichols said a tool shed, located at 2639 Stillwater Rd., lost a wall and roof after catching fire.
Sugar Grove Volunteer Fire Department Senior Captain Justin Darr said crews responded at around 1 p.m. and returned at approximately 2:53 p.m.
Darr said Wrightsville, Bear Lake, Garland and Sugar Grove volunteer fire departments all responded.
Nichols said Panama Fire Department had a tanker at the scene and was also on standby for Bear Lake.
Columbus Volunteer Fire Department was on standby for Wrightsville, Nichols said, and Lander Volunteer Fire Department was on standby for Sugar Grove.
Darr said no injuries resulted from the fire.
Nobody was in the 24' by 32' structure at the time, Nichols said, and a passerby notified the owner after witnessing the fire.
Crews moved water well, Nichols said, although they dealt with low temperatures and roads which were slippery and covered with ice.
