Warren

Arrested. Warren County Sheriff's deputies arrested Ryan Lally, 31, Westlake, Ohio, on two bench warrants for failure to appear for Fines and Costs Court and a supervisor's warrant for violating conditions of parole. Lally was remanded to the Warren County Prison pending further court action.

Fire alarm. The Warren City Fire Department was called to South Street Elementary School at 3:43 p.m. Dec. 17 for a fire alarm. Firefighters reported somebody was cooking popcorn which burnt and triggered the alarm. The firefighters left at 4:02 p.m.

Conewango Twp.

Hit and run. Benjamin Clark, 13 Franklin St., Warren, reported to Conewango Township police that his silver Dodge Grand Caravan sustained front-end damage while parked in the Wal-Mart parking lot between 12:45 and 1:15 p.m. Dec. 13. Anyone with information is asked to contact the township police.

Mead Twp.

Charged. The Warren County DUI Enforcement team arrested Marlene Kay, Clarendon, during a sobriety checkpoint on Route 6 on Nov. 28. According to police, Kay was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police reported Erik C. Leamon, 36, Youngsville was driving a 2000 Ford F-150 south on Matthews Run Road at 4:20 p.m. Dec. 16. According to police, Leamon was attempting to negotiate a right-hand curve when his vehicle slid, causing him to lose control of his vehicle and strike the end of a guide rail. Police reported the F-150 had to be towed from the scene, but no injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

Youngsville

Theft. David Gard, Route 6, reported to Youngsville Borough police that someone took a blacksmith anvil and blacksmithing tools from his residence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the borough police at 563-7555.

Charged. Youngsville Borough police have charged three juveniles, ages 14, 15 and 16, with burglary and numerous other charges from incidents that occurred between Oct. 19 and 25. Police said juvenile petitions have been filed.
