THEODORE WILLIAMS

Theodore E. Williams, 84, of Mount Joy passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at home. He was mar-ried to Myrna J. Bauer Wil-liams for 36 years.

Ted was a truck driver for Agway, Inc. for over 40 years, retiring in 1987. While living in the north-ern tier of Pennsylvania, he was employed at the Coudersport, Warren, and Addison, NY warehouses and then the Elizabethtown facility since 1973. After retirement, he worked for Lancaster Limousine, Manheim Auto Auction, Copes Corn, and most re-cently Crowe Transporta-tion, Elizabethtown. Ted was a member of the PA Motor Truck Assn., where he served as a former president. A man who loved his family dearly, Ted was a very familiar fig-ure at his children's, grandchildren's, and great grandchildren's sporting events.

Born in Ithaca, NY, he was the son of the late Merle and Angie Bacon Williams.

In addition to his wife, Myrna, he will be deeply missed by his children, Jane (Samuel) Crossley, Coudersport, Edwin (Peg) Williams, Indiana, Daniel (Jennifer) Williams, Pflugerville, TX, Jean (John) Olsen, Russell, Lori Williams, Elizabethtown, Lisa (Joseph) Hess, Colum-bia, and Lynne (Kenneth) Leed, Elizabethtown; step-children, Dawn (Rod-ney) Henry, Warren, Wendy (Sean) Laverty, Bainbridge, and Amy Merchant, Hel-lam; 29 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; a brother, Clair Williams, Cicero, NY; and an Uncle, Bert Williams, AZ. Four sisters, Lois Williams, Mary Coddington, Helen Sher-wood, Meredith Wandell, and three brothers, Edwin, Paul, and George Williams preceded him in death.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ted's Funeral at St. Mark's Unit-ed Methodist Church, 27 E. Main St., Mount Joy on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 11 am. Friends may call at the Sheetz Fun-eral Home, 16 E. Main St., Mount Joy on Wednesday from 6 until 8 pm and again on Thursday at St. Mark's Church from 10 until 11am. Interment is private in Henry Eberle Cemetery, Mount Joy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribu-tions in Ted's name may be made to the Elizabethtown Big E Booster Club, P.O.
