Harry Thompson Weaver, 77, of 6920 Pleasant Drive, Warren, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning, December 5, 2009 at his residence.

Mr. Weaver was born December 13, 1931, in Luffton, Ohio, the son of the late Paul and Bertha Thompson Weaver. He was a graduate of high school in Knox, PA., and then spent a career in the U.S. Air Force. He retired as a Chief Master Sergeant, having served in the Korean War and during the Vietnam War, stationed in Thailand. He completed many Air Force Technical and Leadership Schools with High and Distinguished Honors. He completed his career as a Senior Enlisted Advisor for the Air National Guard at Rickenbacker Air Force Base in Columbus Ohio.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Marie Chapel Weaver, whom he married on May 9, 1953; two sons, Randy Weaver and his wife Linda, Johnstown, PA., and Brian Weaver, Onsted , MI.; four grandchildren, Kristi Hale and her husband Mitch, Mandie Weaver, James Weaver, and Samantha Weaver; three great-grandchildren, Haali Hale, Mitchell Hale, and Zoe Weaver; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother David; and two sisters, Ruth and Virginia.

Friends may call at the Peterson Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Wednesday December 9, 2009 from 2 4 and 6 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the InterFaith Chapel on Thursday, December 10, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Dan Wolboldt, pastor, officiating.

Committal and burial will be at the Warren County Memorial Park with Full Military Honors provided by the active United States Air Force Color Guard.

Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans Chapter #75.
