Charged. Warren City police on Thursday charged Michael Campman, 28, 16 Creekwood Dr., with theft of property lost, mislaid or delivered, and receiving stolen property. According to police, Campman took a bicycle that did not belong to him from the hallway of the Faith Inn during the night of Oct. 20.
Charged. Warren City police on Thursday charged Kathy Hamilton, 50, 33 Hemlock Rd., with theft by deception and bad checks. According to police, Hamilton wrote a $24.84 check to Gaughn's Drug Store, 348 Pennsylvania Ave. W., on Aug. 6 that was returned unpaid and marked "Closed Account."
Charged. Warren City police on Thursday charged Terry Sumrow, 26, 121 Grant St., with criminal mischief. According to police, Sumrow slashed two tires on a known female's vehicle while it was parked at 1700 Pennsylvania Ave E. at 10:15 p.m. Nov. 29.
Charged. Warren City police on Thursday charged Douglas Muzzy, 19, 603 Beech St., with terroristic threats, and retaliation against victim. According to police, Muzzy threatened to burn down the Forest Warren Counties Department of Human Services building and threatened to take care of the victim, a female case worker, stating she was going to lose some teeth. Police said the first threat occurred on Nov. 23 at the Warren County Courthouse, 204 Fourth Ave., and the second threat occurred at the DHS building, 27 Hospital Dr., on Dec. 1.
Charged. Warren City police on Friday charged Jessica Campbell, 28, 210 East St., Apt. 6, with disorderly conduct. According to police, Campbell caused a disturbance at Choice Cigarette store, 215 Pennsylvania Ave. W., at 9:43 p.m. Dec. 1.
Charged. Warren City police on Friday charged Wayne Campbell, 32, 109 Race St., Sugar Grove, with disorderly conduct. According to police, Campbell caused a disturbance at the soup kitchen at 600 Pennsylvania Ave. W. at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 24.
Charged. Warren City police on Tuesday charged Donald Hahn, 58, 601 Pennsylvania Ave. E., Apt. B, with public drunkenness. According to police, an officer along with a Warren City ambulance crew was dispatched t 8:54 p.m. Dec. 1 to 311 Pennsylvania Ave. E. for a report of a man down. Police said Hahn had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath.
Conewango Twp.
Accident. Conewango Township police were called to the scene of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Rt. 62 and S. State Street at 7:04 p.m. Dec. 3. According to police, Polly Truesdale of Warren was northbound on Rt. 62 in a 2005 Ford Focus and struck a Honda sedan operated by a female juvenile that was turning left from S. State Street. Police said Truesdale was transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment of her injuries; the female juvenile and her passengers sustained minor injuries. Police said both vehicles sustained moderate damage. Police were assisted at the scene by Emergycare and North Warren volunteer firefighters.
Retail theft. Conewango Township police charged two juvenile males with retail theft at Wal-Mart at 7:35 p.m. Dec. 3. According to police, the two juveniles stole two iPod cases and two iPod USB cables.
Pine Grove Twp.
Criminal mischief. Bruce Fredrickson, 63, reported to Warren-based state police that sometime Nov. 28 someone damaged a front window of his residence along Route 62 by shooting a BB gun at it. Police said damage was set at $373. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crimestoppers.
Found property. Warren-based state police said they found a five-gallon bucket with tools at the intersection of Routes 62 and 957 at 8:15 a.m. Dec. 2. The owner can claim the items by calling the state police barracks, 728-3600.
Hit and run. According to Warren-based state police, at some point Thursday, an unknown vehicle was traveling north near the 600 block of Akley Road. The vehicle traveled off the west side of the road, striking a pine tree before returning back to the roadway and fleeing the scene, police said. According to police, the vehicle caused major damage to the tree and yard of Harold B. Singleton, 70, Russell. Police said the suspect vehicle may be red in color. Criminal mischief. Brian Sperry, 46, 9 Hazard Place, reported to Warren-based state police that someone damaged a sliding glass door while attempting to gain entry to his residence between 11 p.m. Dec. 1 and 6 a.m. Dec. 2.
