PARSE celebrates

The annual Christmas party of the Barton Schuler chapter of PARSE (Pennsylvania Association of Retires State Employees) will be held at the Variety Buffet in the Warren Commons on Thursday, Dec. 10, at 1 p.m. Door prizes will be awarded. Participants should see See Pat Slattery, as the chapter will pay part of your bill. Members are reminded dues are due.

Win in bridge

Winners in Monday's bridge game at the Warren Community Center, 905 Fourth Ave., were Gerry Africa, first; Isabel Vescio, second; and Emily Birgel, third. The group meets each Monday with game time at 6:30 p.m.

The Warren County YMCA will have registrations beginning Wednesday, Dec. 16, for YMCA members and Monday, Dec. 21, for non members. Classes will begin the week of Jan. 4, 2010. This month's speaker, Carol McCormick form Dunkirk, N.Y., will speak on "Christmas Is In the Air" on the theme of "Who's Driving the Car?" Holiday Bazaar

Warren Senior Center, 800 Pennsylvania Ave. W., offers its annual holiday bazaar now through Christmas from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. The bake sale is open today. Chili, soup, hot dogs and pie will be served for lunch today. Takeouts will be available. Call for more information, 723-3237.
