A Mass of Christian Burial for Samuel F. Bonavita, 91, of 601 Fourth Avenue, Warren, Pa. who died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009 was conducted Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph R.C. Church with Rev. Fr. Walter E. Packard, Pastor, officiating. A vigil service was conducted Tuesday at 1:45 p.m. at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. and members of the Warren Knights of Columbus Council conducted their funeral ritual at the funeral home Tuesday at 7:45 p.m. Members of the Warren K of C 4th Degree stood guard during visitation hours.

Serving as honorary pallbearers for interment in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery were members of the Warren County Bar Association, serving as active pallbearers were Ronald J. Bonavita, Jr., Jeffrey T. Bonavita, Kerry Nearing, Saleena Bonavita, Nick Bonavita, Chris Bonavita, Full military honors were conducted at the cemetery by members of the Sheffield/Clarendon V.F.W. Funeral Detail and the U.S. Army Personnel.
