Peters-Scalise

Amber Scalise and Timothy Peters were married on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009, at 4 p.m. at Epiphany Catholic Church in Pittsburgh. The bride is the daughter of Randall and Michele Scalise of Warren. The groom is the son of Lawrence and Christine Peters of Pittsburgh.

Escorted in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by maid of honor Emily Scalise, sister of the bride, and friends of the bride Lacie Zerbe and Megan Ullrich. The groom was attended by best man, Jeffrey Peters, brother of the groom; Ron Sigmund, friend of the groom; and Robbie Scalise, brother of the bride. The groom's nieces, Leah and Brooke Peters, served as junior bridesmaid and flower girl while the groom's nephew, Justin Peters, served as ring-bearer.

Rebecca Peters, sister-in-law of the groom, and friends of the bride, Tara Suppa and Rachel Rohrbaugh, provided readings during the mass. Linda Tassone, godmother of the bride, and Juanita Collet, Godmother of the groom, presented the gifts. Dr. John Raevens and Ms. Jennifer Russell provided wedding music.

A reception was held in Pittsburgh at The River's Club with cocktail music provided by Lou Schreiber. After dinner entertainment was provided by The In-Transit Band.

The bride is a teacher with the Pittsburgh Public School District, and the groom works as a systems analyst for PPG Industries. The couple resides in Pittsburgh.
