Katie Spade has been here before.

Four others hope this is the first of multiple trips.

Warren's Spade was named to the District 10 Region 6 girls cross country all-star team for the fourth time in four seasons while teammates Ellis Beardsley and Amanda Castagnino were rewarded for the first time.

In addition, Youngsville's Abel Robinault and Eli Gruver were included on the Region 4 boys teams for the first time.

Spade, a senior who qualified for the PIAA meet in all four of her cross country seasons, was named to the first team for the third time after a third-place showing at October's Region 6 meet. Beardsley's fourth-place finish in that same race was also enough to earn a first-team nomination. Castagnino finished 11th and earned a place on the region all-stars second team.

The feats of Beardsley and Castagnino were made that much more impressive as the duo are both freshmen having just recently completed their first varsity seasons.

While Robinault has qualified for the PIAA Class AA boys meet in each of the past two seasons, it was the Youngsville junior's first appearence on the Region 4 all-star first team. Robinault was fifth at the Region 4 meet and later qualified for his second straight trip to Hershey.

Teammate Gruver was named to the Region 4 second team after an 11th-place showing in the region meet in October.
