Warren

Arrested. Warren County Sheriff's deputies, assisted by the Warren County Adult Probation Department, arrested Jason Constable, 36, 16 N. Carver St., at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday on a fines and costs bench warrant issued by the Warren County Court of Common Pleas. Deputies said Constable was placed in the Warren County Prison pending further court action.

Conewango Twp.

Crash. Conewango Township police responded to the area of 2717 Follett Run Rd. for a vehicle rollover at 6:45 p.m. July 13. Police said William Robert Griffin, 713 Logan Rd., Warren, told them that he lost control of his vehicle as he was negotiating a right-hand curve. Police said the vehicle struck an embankment three times and caused the vehicle to roll over and come to rest on the road. Police reported Griffin was transported to Warren General Hospital for his injuries. Police said during further investigation, Griffin was found to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. Police reported Griffin is being charged with one count DUI general impairment, one count DUI high rate of alcohol, one count driving vehicle at safe speed, one count careless driving, one count restraint systems and one count restrictions on alcoholic beverages. Police said charges have been filed with District Justice Laura Bauer's office.

Arrested. Warren County Sheriff's deputies arrested Courtney Morse Jr., 21, 217 Vine St., North Warren, at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday on two fines and costs bench warrant issued by the Warren County Court of Common Pleas. Deputies said Constable was placed in the Warren County Prison pending further court action.

Elk Twp.

Cited. Warren-based state police reported that during regulatory traffic stop Robert J. Thompkins Sr. of Endeavor was found to be in possession of untaxed cigarettes. Police said Thompkins was cited for a summary violation of the Cigarette Tax Act.

Cigarette Tax Act violation. Warren-based state police reported Nancy L. Preshak, 67, Sheffield, and Janice M. Highhouse, 70, Sheffield, entered a traffic safety check at the Elk Township Building on Scandia Road and were found to be in possession of untaxed cigarettes. Police reported charges were filed in district court.

Pittsfield Twp.

Theft by unlawful taking. Warren-based state police reported someone removed the gold wedding band and a half karat T.W. gold ring set from Sandra L. Hollabaugh, 58, Garland, between Nov. 12 and 15 at Valley View Trailer Park. Police said the stolen property is valued at $900, and that an investigation is continuing.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Public drunkenness. Warren-based state police reported Kenneth Arthur Sturdevent, 22, Warren, was cited for public drunkenness after he was found staggering along Jones Hill Road and was found to be intoxicated at 1:35 a.m. Nov. 18.
