Rita Marie Eaton, 89, went to be with the Lord at 3:05 A.M. Sat. November 14, 2009 at the Oil City Presbyterian Home. She formerly resided at 307 Orange St. Oil City.

Born in Easton, N. Hampton County, PA on Aug. 30, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. Reilly & Madeline Meisel Reilly

She was a graduate of St. Joseph Nursing School in Phila. and was a RN in the Healthcare field for many years.

Mrs. Eaton belonged to St. Stephens Church.

She enjoyed reading and looking through cook books.

Mrs. Eaton and her husband had lived in New York and New Jersey before coming to Oil City in 1961 and later moved to the Warren area for many years before retiring back to Oil City in 1997.

She was married on July 3, 1941 to Robert T. Eaton and he preceded her in death on Dec. 1, 2000.

She is survived by a daughter: Judith A. Bliss of Long Beach, CA; two sons: Robert C. Eaton & his wife Deirdre of Myrtle Beach, SC and Richard V. Eaton & his wife Jackie of Seneca; five grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren also survive.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Rita Aiuto, and by two brothers: Charles A. Reilly and Eugene J. Reilly

Friends will be received from 79 P.M. Monday and from 10:00 A.M. till the time of the service at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday in the Reinsel Funeral Home and Crematory.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday in the funeral home with Rev. William Hopkins, pastor of the Oil City Church of the Nazarene, Presiding. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Condolences may be sent at www.reinselfuneralhome.com.
