4-H meeting

Kinzua Ridge Runners Horse 4-H club will meet at Sheffield Methodist Church at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11. New members are welcome.

Pomona Grange

Warren-Forest Pomona Grange will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Grange Building on the Warren County Fairgrounds, Pittsfield. Lunch will be served by members of East Branch Grange.

Watson to meet

Watson Grange will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at the Grange Hall on Rt. 337. Members will set up for the turkey party to be held there at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14.

AARP to meet

The local Chapter 4297 of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) will hold a board meeting at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 200 Pleasant Dr. The regular meeting of Chapter 4297 will follow after a brief break for refreshments at the same location. Participants should note this is a different time and location than usual. New members and interested people are invited. For information, call 723-7814.

Quilt trunk show

The Quilter's Night Out Guild will host a lecture and trunk show, "This Guy Must Be Nuts," by George Siciliano at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 306 Conewango Ave., Warren. For more information, call Gretchen McClain at 757-8115 or Melanie Barrett at 726-0597 or 563-9798.

Doll club to meet

The Kinzua Country Dollers will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, in the Jefferson Room at the Warren Public Library. The meeting will precede a special program by Dookie and Germaine Broussard who will provide items to place in Christmas stockings to send to the troops. This is the second year the dollers have done this project as a "thank you" to the people who serve our country. Members are asked to take signed holiday cards, first name only, containing a short note and good wishes. New members are welcome.

Win at bridge

Winners in Social Bridge Club play at the Woman's Club of Warren Thursday were Carol Lake, first, and Kay Smith, second.

No veterans meeting

The Veterans Council meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 11 (and changed to Thursday, Nov. 12) has been canceled, according to Ed Seebeck.

Zonta to meet

The Zonta Club of Warren will meet at noon Thursday, Nov. 12, at the Jefferson DeFrees Center, Second Ave.

K of C to meet

The monthly meeting of the Knights of Columbus will be held at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at the Columbia Home. All members are encouraged to attend.

Youngsville High School Class of 1951 will have breakfast at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Richard's Restaurant, Youngsville.

Men to breakfast

Retired men of the Warren County School District will have breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at Perkins Restaurant, Warren.

Local cook honored

Lori Graham of Pittsfield had her original recipe, "Sweet and Sour Dressing," published in a new cookbook, Farmhouse Kitchen, published by Gooseberry Patch.

Spaghetti served

The Chandlers Valley Church Youth Group will host a spaghetti and meatball dinner Friday, Nov. 13, from 4 to 7 p.m. Cost will be a donation. Come and support the Chandlers Valley Youth! For additional information, call Pastor Larry at 489-3142.
