Warren
Possession of marijuana/drug paraphernalia. Warren-based state police reported Travis Whippo, 21, Warren, was the passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for traffic violations at 12:16 a.m. Oct. 30. Police reported during the traffic stop it was determined Whippo had in his possession drug paraphernalia along with a small amount of marijuana. Police reported charges will be filed through District Court.
Youngsville
Theft. Youngsville Borough police reported Dennis Enos, 416 E. Main St., Youngsville, told police on Oct. 28 someone took three bottles of his wife's pain medication while in her purse at home sometime on Oct. 27.
Theft. Youngsville Borough police reported Steve Romonosky contacted police on Oct. 30 after someone took a 32" Werner aluminum ladder that was chained to his wooded shed at 150 Bates St.
Theft. Youngsville Borough police reported Mike Hendrickson of Old Pittsfield Rd. told police someone took his green Schwinn BMX bike that was parked outside the Lutheran church on W. Main St. on Oct. 22.
Attempted burglary. Youngsville Borough police reported James and Sue Uhron of 317 High St. notified police after someone attempted to break into their residence through a garage window sometime after midnight on Oct. 29. Police reported someone opened a garage window attempting to gain access to their residence. Police said nothing was reported stolen.
Prowler. Youngsville Borough police reported Kathy Kane, of 733 Main St. reported to police on Oct. 30 she heard a noise outside her home shortly after 10 p.m. Oct. 29. Police reported as she looked out a window, she observed someone had put a ladder against her front porch roof near a bedroom. Police reported a motion light did come on and the subject fled the scene.
DUI. Youngsville Borough police reported Shane Hadfield, 18, Pittsfield, was stopped at approximately 2 a.m. on Oct. 24 for trespassing at Brokenstraw Valley Swimming Pool. Police reported he was arrested for driving under the influence, corruption of minors, trespass, underage consumption and other summary violation. Police reported he also had a passenger, 15, with him who was also cited for underage consumption and trespass.

Youngsville
Charged. Youngsville police have filed juvinile petitions with Warren County Juvenile Probation following an investigation into an incident that occured during Corn Fest weekend, Aug. 22-23. A 17-year-old juvenile, two 15-year-old juveniles and a 14-year-old juvenile have been charged with terroristic threats, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and harassment, police said. The juveniles will be required to answer the juvenile petitions through the Warren County Probation Office, police said.
