Conewango Twp.

Lost wallet. Miranda Y. English, of 6 Biddle St., Warren, reported to Conewango Township police that at approximately 1 a.m. Sunday she lost a pink wallet with a silver buckle in the Burger King area of Warren Commons. Anyone with information is asked to contact the township police.

Assault/harassment. According to Warren-based state police, Robert J. Whyte, 25, of Warren State Hospital, pushed Jeremy Lynn Walter, 30, also of Warren State Hospital, against a wall at 3:50 p.m. Friday, causing Walter to hit his head and fall to the ground. Once on the ground, Whyte punched Walter several times on the left side of the head, causing a large swelled area above the left eye and black and blue swelling around the left eye and nose, police said, Whyte was charged with simple assault and harassment, with further action pending, according to police.

Criminal mischief. Keith Eggleston, Warren, reported to Conewango Township police that while his 2004 blue Jeep Cherokee was parked in the Wal-Mart parking lot between 5:15 and 6:15 p.m. Oct. 23, someone keyed the passenger side from the front fender to the rear fender. Anyone with information is asked to contact the township police.

Deerfield Twp.

Accident. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Rt. 27 at 4:45 p.m. Saturday. According to police, Gary Bedow, 40, of Titusville was southbound on Rt. 27 and attempted to make a left turn into the Clearview Inn parking lot. A northbound vehicle operated by Jennifer Haight, 31, Youngsville, made contact with Bedow's vehicle, causing it to spin counterclockwise into the parking lot where it struck a parked vehicle owned by Lawrence Murphy Jr., 58, Erie. Police said Haight's vehicle continued north for approximately 50 feet before stopping. Police said Bedow was flown by helicopter to Hamot Medical Center, Erie, for treatment of his injuries and a six-year-old male passenger in Haight's vehicle was transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. Police said charges are pending. Police were assisted at the scene by Youngsville, Garland and Grand Valley volunteer firefighters and EMS.

Mead Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that between 6 p.m. Oct. 12 and 10 a.m. Oct. 19, someone shot BBs at a window of a residence belonging to Frank Sturdevant, 45, 4 N Main St., Clarendon, causing it to break. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crime Stoppers.

Criminal mischief. Personnel at Colin Hurd Inc., Huckabone Lane, reported to Warren-based state police that someone damaged a company truck that was parked there between 6 p.m. Oct. 21 and 10 a.m. Oct. 22. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crimestoppers.

Pittsfield Twp.

Criminal mischief. Elwin Mills, 85, Fairview, reported to Warren-based state police that someone removed a survey stake from his camp on Panther Gap Road sometime between 3 p.m. July 1 and 3 p.m. Oct. 21. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Sheffield Twp.

Retail theft. A clerk at the Sheffield Uni-Mart, 30 S. Main St., Sheffield, reported to Warren-based state police that an unknown intoxicated male entered the store with another unknown male at approximately 1:14 a.m. Oct. 25, obtained two slices of deli pizza, a pack of cigarettes and a bottle of Mountain Dew. Police said the male ate the pizza, then attempted to pay for the items with a credit card that was rejected. The male left the store with the cigarettes, but left the Mountain Dew on the counter with a set of keys. He was described as being in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, medium build with light brown hair and wearing a long-sleeve possibly gray sweatshirt and blue jeans. The other male was described as approximately the same age, a little taller, wearing a dark-colored "Snap On" t-shirt and was carrying a unconcealed handgun in a holster. The clerk told police that both males said they were staying at a camp and had earlier been at the Shaw House. Anyone with information about the identity of the two males is asked to contact the state police or Crimestoppers.

Triumph Twp.

Theft. Robert Frey, 31, Mount Wolfe, Pa., reported to Warren-based state police that someone forcibly entered a shed behind his camp on Youngsville Road between noon on Oct. 3 and 11:30 p.m. Oct. 22 and removed a Husquvarna chainsaw, model 455E Rancher, and five gallons of gas. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crimestoppers.

Youngsville

Harassment. Blaine VanGuilder, Warren, reported to Warren-based state police that a known male from Youngsville had followed him around the Youngsville area between 11:15 and midnight Oct. 24.

Burglary. Ian Ashbaugh of Youngsville Pharmacy, 112 E. Main St., reported to Warren-based state police that someone had entered the business, causing damage to the door at 12:30 a.m. Oct. 25. Police said the intruders fled when the business' alarm sounded. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crimestoppers.
